Sony PS3 sales up 999% thanks to the Slim

Sales of the PS3 have risen by nearly 1000% in EU following the release of Sony's new slimmer model.

According to Chart-Track, week-to-week PS3 sales are up by 999%.

The firm's Dorian Bloch described the increase as "huge", saying: "The uplift on week 36 on week 35 is plus 999%. We don't give out the hardware numbers, but nevertheless it's a very large increase."
