Bonk: Brink of Extinction Announced

Hudson Entertainment announced the early 2010 release of Bonk: Brink of Extinction for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii, a side scrolling adventure featuring next generation graphics mixed with a retro gameplay style. Bonk: Brink of Extinction will be for Microsoft Xbox LIVE, Sony PS3 PSN and Wiiware.

Many may not remember this classic from back in the day but initially made for NEC’s TurboGrafx-16 console in 1990, Bonk’s Adventure was a platform adventure title which gathered lots of Game of the Year awards. Bonk’s Revenge and Bonk 3: Bonk’s Big Adventure followed up the classic title on TurboGrafx-16. Nintendo also featured Bonk in the Gameboy title named Bonk’s Revenge and Super Bonk for the SNES.
